Office Depot Austin Event , #depotdifference

Last week I was honored to be the one to capture the #depotdifference event! The excitement was over the moon , from both the school and all the wonderful volunteers from Office Depot! Seeing how excited all the children were for not only their new backpacks but also some new school supplies AND a gift card was such a heart melt .

I love seeing that our Austin community cares and being able to be the one to capture it was such an honor!

The kids entered through a tunnel of HIGH FIVES from Office Depot while music from the DJ was blastin . They were all pretty excited and pumped up!

Sitting with all the children was the awesome principle!

Pink was a favorite!

So many new back packs !

Not only did the kids get all their back too school gear but a teacher was nominated and blessed with a new desk , computer , chair and all the goods for the school year! It was so touching to see her receive this amazing gift !

And the moment is here , all the kids lined up to get their backpacks!

Six Months old , half birthday lemon baby

I love growth chart sessions , this is sweet baby Elliot’s 3rd session with me and my goodness is she growing. She was a sweet little chunky newborn , now already miss Elliot is the happiest little giggly 6 month old ! Ya`ll its no cliche , time flies when you have a baby. They grow so fast and bloom into these tiny little people full of personalities!

Elliot , already your silly personality shines ! Her screams and gggles are the BEST.

Half Birthday celebrations!

I have documented this sweet baby boy since he was just a sleepy little newborn!

I love being able to see the changes of each baby as they grow and provide beautiful art work for mom and dad of their baby! Half birthday , six month photography sessions, are so much fun! Little ones are just starting to sit up and become little people , laughing and smiling . AND of course they have those sweet little baby rolls that you just want to pinch!

I feel like yesterday Ella`s mommy was texting me the day was here and Elizabeth is on the way, and I was freaking out to get back to her to capture this sweet girl !

Oh where was I you say?

Well Ella shares a birthday with my mom and came over a week early , so when I received this text I was just arriving in Grapevine, Texas (4hrs from home) to spend the day with my mom.

Oaklee and I left the very next am to head to the hospital to meet this little girl who just could not wait any longer to make her grand debut!

Now this wasn`t the first time Ella Grace surprised us , in case you haven’t been following my blog like you should (hehehe) I was there to capture her gender reveal where we found out mommy and daddy where having a BOY.

Yup , Ella girl , I captured a very MAD mama finding out you were a boy. She had her heart set on YOU.

But joke on dad, you were you all along !

So there is no doubt this little girl will keep her parents on their toes , and I am so blessed to be the photographer to capture these moments !

Happy birthday Ella Grace , you sure are the sweetest little girl!

Point Venture Family Vacation

You know you live in a slice of heaven when people come from all over to stay in your hood. This sweet family all got together from Cali to visit for the week and while they where here they had me capture everyone together!

During large group sessions I also capture family breakdowns , cousins and siblings. AND I also love to make the grandparents take a few images together as well as the parents. Most time the only images are with the kiddos, and yes those are the best BUT you need some of just you and your love.

And you know grandma and grandpa could use more images of just the two of them!

First we start with the whole gang. Didnt they coordinate their outfits so well? I loved the kids in white and toddler in matching blue!

Then we capture the family breakdowns!

When hes not attacking like the toddler he is , hes giving mama sweet kisses

Because first was mom and dad .

This little man sure thought it was fun for sister and brother to hold him , I should share the out takes ha!

And the grandparents! One of my all time favorite poses because I am just ooooey gooey sap for lovey dovey shots.

These two are best friends and cousins, that is the best!

Mom and dad said this big boy was about to turn three! So we got some three year old portraits done while we were out and he was dressed up!

I love lakeside family sessions off of Lake Travis. Summer has been wonderful this year, I love all these families sticking out the heat to capture some stunning summer family photography sessions !

Hello there , meet sweet little Jones Ryder !

His mommy and daddy had the sweetest maternity session with me, one of my favorites! They are just the sweetest couple and so kind and loving. I knew that they would create a very special little one after meeting these two and capturing their sunset maternity photos!

Ashley let me choose her in home session , and just like mommy and daddy Mr.Jones was so easy going! We got to try out so many sweet baby hats and poses!

Oh and he is already the happiest little guy, giving lots of sweet dreaming baby smiles!

See what I mean? Happiest little guy I have ever seen!

I love photographing the first baby of the family . This pup, Frank , was all about being on dads lap so he could sniff baby Jones and make sure he was safe. I think he also didn’t mind having the spotlight for a bit, after all it used to be all his!

First birthday event photography , hey sweet girl!

I met this sweet little one year at her sisters 4th birthday last year in Dripping Springs, she was cuddled up in her mamas carrier and just the most perfect little baby. Really , I don`t think she made a peep the whole party! Time sure flies because I feel like I just captured her big sisters birthday party and little miss Bowie was just a teenie tiny little thing!

Event photography is so much fun , gives the parents the opportunity to disconnect from their phones and enjoy their babies.

And I love capturing candid images , and details.

Hudson bend family photography session

One thing I really love about the 4th is that families get all together! Its the perfect time to take advantage of capturing your family , all the grand babies and cousins !

I have had so many stunning Lake Travis sessions this summer , This sweet family session took place in Hudson Bend. It was a warm morning , good thing you couldn’t see all wonderful nasty sweat on my face! This family however looked stunning despite the humidity! You cant even tell it was a crazy warm July morning.

It was 8am and already quite bright , but that did not stop us from capturing the sweetest warm memories !

Maternity sunset photography session, Lake Travis

I love maternity sessions , capturing a new mama`s to be glow .

And then getting to meet the bundle of joy a couple months later is the most special thing I think I could capture for a family! Its amazing seeing two people in a tiny little face.

This session took place at sunset off of lake Travis in the Texas Hill Country. Thank goodness weather was on our side and the humidity , for July , was not all as bad as we expected.

Lake Travis Family session

I love family sessions, I tend to be a speedy photographer , get done before the kiddos are way over it! I love the candid smiles , and I really love smiling baby smiles !

I especially enjoy lake Travis sessions considering that`s basically my back yard!

The best time for outdoor sessions in this HOT Texas summer weather is bright and early or in the evening! This wonderful family was up bright and early for me , and my oh my did their session come out amazing!

I love mommy and daddy shots, they warm my heart seeing all that love!

Happy Fathers Day!

I hope all you dads out there had an amazing fathers day this year!

I got to take some sweet little “I love daddy “ mini sessions!

This little three month old growth chart session was just in time for her fathers day mini while she was here!

I mean I dont know if it gets any cuter than this! This was my first year offering I love daddy mini sessions from the kiddos and it was a huge success !

This sweet girl is already laughing and smiling at her cute three month session!

Capturing Toddlers

I love toddler portraits. This age is hard mama but oh so amazing. It`s my favorite. They are becoming their own little people. Their personalities blooming ! And man are they proud to do the opposite of what you say haha!

So many people tell me they are hesitant to book a session because their toddler wont sit.

All right first thing, if needed bribes win . I know , I know you don`t want too but if it works , it works! Vitmain suckers for the win! Found at whole foods, Natural Grocers and Amazon ! ( not an ad!) Also , not to brag but I am super speedy. I will set up everything before hand and make sure I am ready when your kiddo is! I will prob look like a fool jumping , playing peek-a-boo whatever but we will get something!

Part of capturing toddler portraits for me is also capturing their personality! There are the shy kiddos , hey that`s my kid, those serious faces that study you , and those goofy kiddos , you will miss these little looks with the big eyes and round cheeks!

I love tiny Oh SO serious little human faces!

If yours is a goof ball , we will have lots of fun getting those goofy faces ! Whatever the personality I strive to capture that for you!

This little boy Grey, is a ham. He warms up quickly to you and gives you lots of cute flirtatious smiles , watch out girls!

Madison graduates , say what!

I don`t know what else I can say about this one of kind , seriously ONE of a kind gems, Madison!

Madison has a heart of gold. She is the kindest young woman I ever met. Jesus just beams from the inside out! Not only is she the sweetest but this girl was just awarded the Pima Merit Scholarship, everyone is so dang proud of her and we can`t wait to see all of her accomplishments through college !

Mommy did it! Graduation Family session

Spring

Spring sessions are in full swing.

WOW I have been busy you guys, but it has been wonderful and I am so grateful .

Spring in Texas is stunning. I am obsessed with all the flower fields .It is one of my FAVORITES. I live in the hill country off of lake Travis. SO spring is amazing, I get to see cute little Bambi deer laying in my front yard , blue bonnets , orange flowers , yellow flowers , SO MANY FLOWERS.

Spring is also my little dudes birthday. I can not believe how much he is growing , it was like in one day he decided he was going to copy every word we say and have his own little opinions!

seriously , just one day he this started. He has been stubborn to talk.

I got to be the photographer to capture all the sweet kiddos at his school this year , Oaklees first school photo taken by me! I can not wait to frame his school prints. I need more walls in home, I love hanging prints.

Im sorry but this mom can not believe this is my baby. Well not so much my baby anymore, my little man growing up into the sweetest boy.

I got new backdrops in for all my spring newborn babies and I am so excited, This was one of them . I think its so cute!

I also still plan to paint some again but I have not quite figured out how and what materials I want to use this time!

Big things are happening here and I am so excited! Over on my private blog you can see how I have made it to where I am and how I plan to continue to grow and succeed !
